If you cover your right eye, what happens to the visual information that reaches the two hemispheres of the ce?

The optic nerves of the eyes split and transfer the image to both sides of the brain. The only difference is, you will only get one perspective, as the other eye is not letting in any information. As a result, depth perception will be altered, and you only get half of the image you would normally see with two eyes.
