Will Miami Heat head coach Erik Spolestra be fired if they go through major adversity in the 10-11 NBA Season?

He absolutely would no get fired if any of those "what ifs" were to happen. This will be the Heat's 1st season with their "Big 3" so Riley and the rest of the Heat higher-ups are expecting that the Heat will experience the "growing pains" of having 3 high-usage players share the floor at one time. Besides, just they might lose 2 straight, lose 4 out of 6, not get 1st place in the reg.season, not win 60 games, or not win a championship doesn't mean that they suck. I don't even think that they are the best team. The Lakers are still the defending champs and Boston still has Miami beat in terms of toughness, physicality, and post-presence. There is a very good chance that Heat will win it all this year, but there is also a very good chance that they won't. It would be stupid to fire a coach for not having a nearly perfect team, especially when he only got good talent in the beginning of that season. Now if the Heat fail to live up to expectations over the course of the next 3 seasons, then that will be a different story all together.
