U torrent not working.....Help!!?

i was trying to download a game from a mininova torrent that had 29 seeders.....but the download won't start.....it s showing 0 seeders....the pc i'm using has a firewalll does that affect it....how do i kno if u torrent is connected....even Ares is not connecting to the net.....plz help.....its urgent..
