Evolution theory vs creationism.?

Most likely because of the general lack of intellect of the human species. Also because of a lack of research, as most people who do not believe in Evolution think that the Theory of Evolution tries to explain how the earth/universe was created (which is Big Bang Theory), or how life was created (which is Speciation). For those of you that do not know, the Theory of Evolution ONLY explains how life, after the earth was created, and after life already started, came from being just single cell organisms (which were all that there was for several billion years) to the complex life forms we have today.
